Brandy, Cognac and VSOP
Brandy is traditionally made by distilling wine. If you are doing this at home you will require a pot still such as the Alembic or Pure Distilling Pot Condenser. This is to ensure that the flavours of the wine come through into the spirit.
When using a reflux still such as the Turbo 500 or Pure Distilling Reflux Still, the alcohol will come out to pure for enough flavour to carry through.
